The Evolving Artifact (1990) The music composition "The Evolving Artifact" is for a computer, a digital sampler, an electronic keyboard, a trumpet and an amplified cello and a double bass ensemble. Recent works focus on juxtapositions of similar material in different forms -- acoustic ensemble or solo performers in combination with sampled and computer-edited material derived from those acoustic sources.
