Catherine Jaunaux & Ikue Mori - Smell

Item Type: sound recording
Duration: 4:10
Project Type:

Premiere Vapeur Du viei etang

Aere Odeur de crotin fumant

L'humus, La mousse humide et douce

Les bollets pettent dans les feuilles rousses

Les sous bois pourrissent

Les crapauds croassent

Mes narimes jouissent

Les corneilles jacassent

First vapour of the old pond

acrid smell of smoking manure

Humus, the moss humid and soft

Mushrooms fart in red leaves

The undergrowth rots

The toads are croaking

My nose is enraptured

the crows are chatting
