| Listen In: Oscar De Franco & Rashaad Newsome Tonight 12/11 |

Oscar De Franco worked at Harvestworks for three months as part of our International Internship Program. During his stay he created several works that we are happy to present as part of our Listen In series at Harvestworks. In addition De Franco will show 2 new works created as part of his collaborative effort (UNTITLED) with past artist in residence Rashaad Newsome. - GAG! (UNTITLED) The first in a series of videos that takes contemporary languages associated with black and latino gay subculture out of any knowable context in order to challenge current contemporary art concepts. -F airytales (UNTITLED) accompanied by a slide show of De Franco's past performances. Oscar De Franco, Born in Flawil (Switzerland), lives and works in Zurich. He's currently studying New Media art at the Zurich University of the Arts. |
