Dates: August 4 – August 15, 2008 Monday – Friday
Time: 1:00-5:00pm
Cost: $650 + $75 for the membership
Special:  Take the DigiCamp and the Music Camp for $1000.
  
Is your teen really into music?  Build their skills and give them an opportunity to experience how music is produced by enrolling them in the Harvestworks Digital Music Camp.

Description of Activities:This camp is a hand-on introduction to a range of computer skills for musicians. Students will spend 10 days in the recording studio  - writing lyrics, performing or directing, recording, editing, mixing and producing a musical composition or compositions.  All students will participate in the producing team and experience various jobs, from microphone placement, controlling the faders on the mixdown and/or burning the CDs.  They will receive instruction in the following software:  Ableton Live, ProTools and GarageBand.

About the Instructor:
Gisburg is a well-known instructor and audio engineer, who has edited sound and music on films by John Torturro, Woody Allen, Ethan Coen, and Rob Marshall while working at New York's premier recording studios such as Sound One - Todd A.O., Goldcrest Post, or C5inc. As a composer, her own music is documented on three CDs on John Zorn's label Tzadik.
