MUSIC PRODUCTION CAMP FOR TEENS Instructor: Gisburg
Monday-Friday August 4 through 15 – 1pm to 5pm
$650 + $75 for the membership
Is your teen really into music? Build their skills and give them an opportunity to experience how music is produced by enrolling them in the Harvestworks Music Camp. Students will spend two weeks (Mon-Fri 1pm - 5pm) in the recording studio and work like professional musicians: playing, recording, editing, learning basics of the music programs: ProTools and Garage Band, mixing and performing their own music. They will participate in the production team and experience real recording studio jobs, from microphone placement, controlling the faders on the mixdown, choosing effects and the "best take" of the recording. They will produce a CD and perform in a final concert.
About the Instructor:
Gisburg is a well-known instructor and audio engineer, who edited sound and music on films by John Torturro, Woody Allen, Ethan Coen, or Rob Marshall, working at New York's premier recording studios such as Sound One - Todd A.O., Goldcrest Post, or C5inc. As a composer, her own music is documented on 3 CDs on John Zorn's label Tzadik.
