Sound Recording Studio and Audio for Film and Video (Studio A)
Our sound recording studio features Digidesign's top-of-the-line ProTools HD3 system. Take advantage of up to 128 channels of 24 bit/192Khz sample-rate playback, 128-track lock-to-Betacam-SP and/or Quicktime Video, 5.1 to 7.1 surround-sound recording, mixing and monitoring, and extensive non-destructive digital audio processing capabilities.
Our spacious, sound-controlled recording studio designed by Walters-Storyk Design Group, and live room can accommodate recording sessions, automated mixing and complete audio post-production.
We provide a full range of audio services including live recording, mixing for film and video, sound FX editing and foley, sound design, dialogue replacement, CD and DVD audio mastering, and sound-installation design consultation.

Paul Geluso is a New York based sound artist, music producer and engineer. As the chief audio engineer for Harvestworks, he has worked with a vast array of emerging media artists who use sound in their creative work. He has recorded, mixed and mastered numerous music titles in addition to creating sound for award winning films and videos shown on HBO, PBS and MTV. Currently, he is performing live with his electro-acoustic music trio ATOM3 , developing surround sound software for Digidesign’s Pro Tools with Audio Research Labs while producing new artists for Vurse, an artist management company he co-founded with Manex Ibar of Sony Classical in 2005. Paul continues to teach audio production, electronics and music technology at New York University directing the Stephen F. Temmer Tonmeister Technology Seminar , specializing in stereo and surround microphone techniques for recording classical music.
Leslie Lavelenet is a Freelance audio engineer and sound designer with credits on over 40 albums and CDs. He has worked on several major film soundtracks with producers Callum Greene, Neil Hollander and Victoria Maldonado. In addition to his work at Harvestworks, he is the founder and President of Easy Note Record Production Inc. He has held engineering posts at Ibero American, Looking Glass Studios, KVL Audio Visual and AT&T Downtown Digital. Gisburg has held a variety of positions at such studios as C5.inc., Greene Street Recording, Harmonic Ranch, Planet 10 Post, Post factory, Sound One-Todd A.O., and Soundtrack f/t. Her sound for film credits include Woody Allen's Small Time Crooks, Ed Burns' Ash Wednesday, John Turturro's Illuminata, Mark Christopher's Studio 54 and many others. Her CD recording credits include projects by the Cassatt String Quartet, Dieter Schnebel, Gary Lucas, Myra Melford and Marc Ribot. In addition to her engineering work at Harvestorks, she also teaches our popular ProTools courses. Jody Elff is an audio engineer, composer, and artist living and working in New York City. His audio production credits include work with Laurie Anderson, Bang On A Can, Tan Dun, Lou Reed, Paul Simon, and many others. He has composed and performed music for film, dance and theatre including the score for the feature film “All The Wrong Places”, and is the resident sound designer for the National Theater of the United States of America. In performance, he uses custom software environments for dynamic physical control over sonic manipulation. His fine art installations have been shown in galleries and museums internationally, including a sound piece commissioned by Lyon Parc Auto and permanently installed in a public parking facility in Lyon, France.
