GarageBand comes free on most Macs and is easy to use, but it is also a powerful audio editing software with many of the same capabilities as ProTools or Logic. Designed for students wanting an introduction to multi-track audio recording, this workshop will cover signal input (preamp and interfaces) multi-track recording, MIDI sequencing and controllers, processing audio, and the export of finished tracks.
