Greg Pucillo: Fish Trio

What happens when three goldfish, not known for musicality, put their fins together to create sounds? This question seeks an answer in Fish Trio – an installation that uses MAX/MSP/Jitter and digital cameras in order to turn the movements of swimming fish into a sonic experience. The project is interested in the nature of indeterminacy, the unheard potential of the everyday, and ideas of authorship in “musical” composition.
