Harvestworks presents visual artist Saya Woolfalk and sound artist Briggan Krauss as part of Soho Night, an evening of extended exhibition viewing and special programs by the not-for-profit arts organizations in Soho.  These works were produced in part through the Harvestworks Artist In Residence Program.

Saya Woolfalk will present Empathic Imaginaries, 2010 video in progress.  Using performance footage and animation components from a A Ritual of the Empathics, this video introduces the Empathics, their ritual, and how contact with No Placean bones mutates human biology and encourages the development of an Empathic culture.
Briggan Krauss will present "Singularity", is a suite of four sound art compositions composed for 5.1 sound system. Inspired by astronomical and cosmological concepts,  "singularity" refers to an object that has infinite density but zero volume as in the case of a black hole. The four movements to "Singularity" represent the four dimensions of spacetime; back and forth, left and right, up and down, and of time.
