Sabina was born in Tajikistan in 1991. The civil war brought upon the country with the independence from the Soviet Union had to move to Turkmenistan in 1993. Because of dictatorial conditions, she had to relocate to Crimea in 2000 to finish middle school. In 2003 moved back to Tajikistan, where she graduated high school. Upon graduation was admitted to the Polytechnic University of Tajikistan directly to a sophomore year to pursue a painting major. It was decided that she would attain a bright future if her parents sent her to America. In 2009 at the age of 17, she moved alone to the States, hoping to enroll in The Art Institute of Chicago only when the family faced financial difficulties. Knowing just a few people in New York who could help find a job and a place to live, she relocated to Forest Hills in 2010, where she lived and worked various jobs while pursuing an associates degree at BMCC CUNY. In 2016 having little savings, she took a chance and relocated to Westchester to pursue a bachelor’s in New Media at Purchase College full time. Since 2019 has been living and working in NYC.
