Their artistic endeavors exist within a dynamic intersection of video art and sculpture, serving as a platform to explore themes of feeling, embodied knowledge, and intimacy as vital survival technologies, particularly for Black, queer, trans, and feminine-spectrum individuals. In the realm of video art and sculpture, Ross’s work transcends conventional storytelling, they harness the evocative power of words and imagery to conjure deep-seated emotions and sensations. At the heart of Ross’s creative inquiry lies an exploration of how systems of power shape our perception of reality.
Ross’s work has been exhibited internationally, including at MoMA PS1, the Hessel Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, and Tate London. They are a dedicated educator currently teaching at Parsons School of Design, with prior appointments at Rhode Island School of Design, Vassar College, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and the School for Poetic Computation. Ross holds a BFA from SAIC and an MFA from Yale School of Art, where they received the Fannie B. Pardee Prize in Sculpture.

Selwa Abd is a multi-disciplinary artist, musician & designer living in NYC (originally from Morocco, North Africa). Under the guise of Bergsonist, she uses a variety of media to investigate social resonance through divergent conceptual aesthetics (minimalism and musique concrète to name a few). Through her work, she explores notions of identity, memory, and social politics.
She is the founder of the community resource Pick Up The Flow. She hosts a monthly music show on NTS Radio and a podcast featuring inspiring creatives from the PUTF community and beyond. She holds a BFA in Communication Design from The New School. She has performed at Basilica Hudson, Issue Project Room, Fridman Gallery, Dartmouth College and Boston Museum Of Fine Arts to name a few.
Shanthal is an experimental filmmaker, artist, writer, and sound designer making work about what makes her curious. Her work explores themes relating to mental health, human-computer interaction, language, changing landscapes, empathy, food, and joy. Recently she’s been interested in experimenting with analog film formats. She grew up in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and identifies as an islander. She holds a BA in Culture and Media from The New School and an MFA in Film/Video from California Institute of the Arts.
Born in 1981, Ahmed El Shaer is a multi-disciplinary artist whose practice spans the mediums of installation, photography, sound, and moving images with a particular interest in digital technologies. His videos combine Machinima, stock footage, 3D animation, and experimental soundscapes, and have been shown at international venues including the Venice Biennale, Bamako Biennale, Cairotronica, the Guggenheim, the Museum of the Moving Image, and Casa Arabe in Madrid. He recently completed a residency in the Game Lab at the University of Los Angeles California, as part of a Fulbright research program.
