Since 2005 he has been leading workshops and giving lectures in Europe about e-waste and hardware Hacking / Recycling. Benjamin Gaulon will present new work and discuss issues like e-waste, obsolescence and disposable society that have been the focus of his practice and theoretical research. Since 2005 he has been leading workshops and giving lectures in Europe about e-waste and hardware Hacking / Recycling. Workshops participants explore the potential of obsolete technologies in a creative way and find new strategies for e-waste recycling.

Gaulon will present some of his recent projects and invite the audience to engage directly with some of his work. Benjamin Gaulon is a French artist based in Ireland. Gaulon is also leading D.A.T.A (Dublin Art and Technology Association) and co-founder and formerly co-director of IMOCA (Irish Museum of Contemporary Art). He is currently lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Art in NCAD (National College of Art and Design) and at the School of Creative Technologies Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Ireland.
